A NOTE FROM OUR CHAIRS

Dear Friends,

We are honored to return as Chairs of the Wine & Roses Gala for a second year. Last year, we were overwhelmed by the generosity and passion of this community, coming together to raise over $1.1 million in the fight to cure cystic fibrosis. This year, we are setting our sights even higher - because the fight isn’t over, and the progress we’ve seen fuels our determination.

For our family, this mission is deeply personal. When our son, John John, was born with CF, we held onto hope that one day, a cure would be possible. Today, that hope has turned into expectation. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, and we invite you to stand with us - because together, we are making history.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been part of Wine & Roses for years, your support means everything. Let’s make this a night to remember and bring us one step closer to making CF stand for Cure Found.

With gratitude,

John & Tammie Pickering

ABOUT THE GALA

Website Graphics WR 2025 (4).png

The Wine & Roses Gala began in 2000 and for 25 years has been an evening that both celebrates progress and further supports the quest for a cure for cystic fibrosis. Thanks to outstanding corporate supporters, over $8.5 Million has been raised since the event's inception, greatly contributing to the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Wine & Roses is a truly elegant evening of dinner and dancing at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. The evening begins with a champagne reception and is followed by a seated dinner with wine pairings, an incredible live and silent auction, and fun entertainment with live music and dancing until midnight.

Join us as we wine and dine for a cure at our 26th annual Wine & Roses Gala.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has unrestricted financial reserves of about 10 times its 2024 operating budget. These reserves are largely a result of the Foundation's successful venture philanthropy model, through which we have raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help discover and develop breakthrough CF therapies. These funds and any future revenue from our model are reinvested into the CF Foundation's mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. The CF Foundation is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and healthy experience for individuals attending Foundation Events. Individuals attending CF Foundation events must abide by the Foundation’s Attendance Policy (www.cff.org/attendancepolicy) and accompanying guidelines, which include guidance for event attendees living with cystic fibrosis.
